i Heart Faces Texture Entry

 This picture I took right when I was starting out as a paid photographer (hence the old watermark). I had the cutest little model with such innocent big blue eyes. I had fun playing around with textures. In the SOOC shot, the background is a white bed sheet. This one is still my favorite texture shot.

i Heart Faces We Are Family Entry

This week's theme is all about family. I was trying to think of what families I've taken pictures of in the past year and this one stands out the most. This is the mother of 3 beautiful, young children. You wouldn't know it, but 3 months earlier, she lost her husband (not to mention her brother-in-law and father-in-law) in a tragic plane accident. Of course she has her bad days, but I'm amazed at her strength, faith, and courage she has had to get through this. She has been strong for her children and for others. She really knows what The Big Picture is all about. She knows she will see her husband again. Thank you for the privilege of letting me document this precious moment in your lives. May you continue to find joy in your journey.

{Heather's Senior Pics}

This is my gorgeous niece. She let me take her Senior pictures back in October. She's got killer blue eyes and so much beauty in her smile too. I think I've said before and I'll say it again...I LOVE Senior photo shoots!

i Heart Faces Best Face Photo Entry

I usually submit pictures from my archives but this time the stipulations were to post one taken in the last two months. What is more recent than today! Right now, the scenery isn't so great and it's just plain cold! So, I used my ever-so-willing daughter (for 2 minutes that is) to hopefully capture my Best Face photo in my backyard.
